As most of you know Nick is an AMAZING cook, but over the weekend he made the BEST THING EVER!!!! Blood orange Gelato using the blood oranges from the tree in our backyard. Can you say, "YUMMY"?!?!

ya, well, Isabella and Lisi made snowballs and 'melted-snow water' from the snow in our front yard!!
And let me assure you that if Nick serves up gelato anything like the guy on Capri did, we had WAY bigger snowballs than you had spoonfuls of gelato!!!
After juicing a gallon's worth of blood orange juice, we have no reason, save for calories, to be stingy with the gelato.
But Heather is right... it's far and away the best thing I've ever made, and I've come up with some good stuff. (riding on the shoulders of giants and all that)
